We are all winners – this is the principle guiding the activities of the Mifal Ha’payis since its establishment. 100% of the profits are returned to the community, partly as prizes to the lottery winners and partly as allocations to the local authorities in Israel, who use them to the benefit of the community and the wellbeing of the population.

In the course of the 54 years since its establishment, Mifal Ha’payis – by means of its customers – has founded hundreds of thousands of buildings and projects dedicated to the community in the fields of  health, education, welfare, sports, culture, art and environment. From a modest establishment whose goal was to build hospitals, Mifal Ha’payis has developed into an organization which has dedicated more than 23 billion NIS to various community projects, serving as the almost sole financial source for community projects of local authorities.
